You can NEVER have too many florals, right? We are so glad that Sadie and Wayne agreed! Today, we are sharing the GORGEOUS bright, and moody design we created for their wedding at Capital One Hall in Virginia. And we have to be honest – coming into the new year we have seen a shift in color palette that we are HERE for! While for the last few years, white monochromatic designs and neutrals have been the norm, more couples are seeking vibrant hues for their 2023 wedding! If you’ve been looking for colorful wedding inspiration, prepare to love this one as much as we did!

Wedding Fashion Icons

There were so many captivating details we adored about Sadie and Wayne’s wedding at Capital One Hall in Virginia (trust us, you won’t want to miss a thing so keep scrolling), but let’s start with Sadie’s stunning bridal cape. Gorge! We have a true passion for brides who fearlessly embrace unique fashion choices that push the envelope (and honestly, we wholeheartedly encourage it). She was showstopping. Wayne’s reaction when he saw her was priceless!

On top of that, we couldn’t help but fall in love with the attire selections for the beautiful bridesmaids standing in at this lovely spring wedding. Their elegant and varied shades of pink dresses were fun and vibrant and they all looked fabulous (Sadie let each bridesmaid choose a dress that resonated with their individual style and let us just say – this is a trend we can get behind!).

An Indoor Ceremony at Capital One Hall

With its breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows, we added elegant smoked ghost chairs to give it that moody vine. Along with vibrant floral arrangements, Sadie and Wayne’s wedding at Capital One Hall was a true spectacle of perfection. As the couple stood before their closest loved ones, they exchanged heartfelt custom vows, each word carefully written in their sweet keepsake vow books. The ceremony was made even more special as it was officiated by a dear friend, adding an extra touch of personalization and warmth to the celebration. It’s moments like these that remind us of the beauty and joy that come with having a friend officiant – truly unforgettable.

A “Wedding Night in Art” Reception

Sadie and Wayne’s wedding at Capital One Hall would have been extraordinary no matter what, but let’s take a moment to appreciate the importance of exceptional lighting when it comes to event planning. We cannot emphasize enough how much a well-executed lighting setup can utterly transform your wedding reception. In the case of Sadie & Wayne’s wedding, it elevated a “blank space” venue into a true “wedding night in art,” leaving us completely mesmerized. The combination of vibrant and moody accents in their decor truly made a statement. We are still swooning!

Fun Wedding at Capital One Hall

Although we believe in planning beautifully designed weddings and events around here, we also believe that we have a special knack for planning weddings that are a LOT of fun. We don’t want the pretty if it doesn’t come with joy! Our favorite part of the wedding day is always watching our couples and their guests dance and enjoy the result of a year of hard work! We have the best job in the world.
