I’ve known Julianne (Juli) Smith since her days of running United with Love, and I’ve always been a fan! As a DC Wedding Planner, she’s always been open to helping out myself and other fellow entrepreneurs and giving out advice when needed. Our hearts broke when she made the announcement that she’d be selling the DC blog, but were happy to learn that she’d be starting a new endeavor The Garter Girl. Fast forward to a couple years later, Juli decided to share her knowledge for blogging with 25 lucky ladies! When I heard about the B.Y.O.B (Blog Your Own Business) Workshop I jumped at the opportunity to attend! I knew it was going to provide loads of useful information that business owners could use. I was even more excited when Juli asked if I would help her coordinate the workshop! Um yes!!

The week leading up to the workshop Juli and curated her timeline to ensure it would leave time for all of the action packed topics she would be handling for the day. The day before we coordinated all of the vendors, setting up at Marigold & Grey’s studio as much as possible! That included setting up all the tables and chairs, getting all of the awesome swag bags together, and making sure Juli didn’t stress out too much from time to time. Hey we are Simply Breathe Events, remember!

By the end of workshop night, I remember Juli looking over at me and saying, “I have no clue how you do this. There’s no way I could’ve done this without you!” Pull on our heart strings Juli!
