Tessa + Tom were married on April 29, 2017 at the Holy Rosary Church (ceremony), and Westin Georgetown (Reception).
Tessa + Tom were the most sweetest couple we’ve had the pleasure to work with! The two of them and their families accepted me with open arms into their wedding planning process and were always a joy to work with. They tried to prep me in advance for their cookie table (a western Pennsylvania Tradition), but I quickly let them know I was an expert already thanks to our former client’s Amanda + Tim’s cookie table! So when their DC wedding day rolled around and I saw the boxes of cookies ready to be displayed, I knew I was in for a treat (no pun intended).
My favorite part about their wedding were Tessa’s bridesmaid dresses. The all black floor length bridesmaid dresses they donned, contrasted perfectly with Tessa’a modern all white wedding palette. When you think of DC weddings, this is as close as it gets. Scroll down further to see more photos of their special day!

[…] Yay I blogged! Cue the applause please. And what better way to get back into the swing of things than reminiscing on Rachel & Kevin’s wedding day last spring (yes I know, better late than never!). The Anderson House is one of those quintessential DC venues without being considered too DC. Tucked neatly in Dupont Circle, it’s no surprise that Rachel + Kevin chose this ornate gem. No matter where you turn there’s glam at every corner and every nook. I mean there’s a pool in the back! Dying to see more? Scroll down to check out photos from this perfect spring wedding. […]
