It’s hard to believe that Brittani & Jared’s destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta was over a year ago already. Married at one of Mexico’s most beautiful 5-star resorts, Garza Blanca, we can’t help but look back on this wedding fondly (and are eager to create something like it again). It was a career destination wedding highlight here at Simply Breathe Events for sure. Bejeweled Wedding Details

When our couples love the bling, we aren’t afraid to bring it! We are still in awe of Brittani’s diamond wedding day jewelry (the earrings, the tennis bracelet, the headpiece, the RING – we couldn’t take our eyes off her!). Then we had Jared, who wore a custom made paisley jacket and looked equally dashing on their wedding day. While we were busy bringing the reception to life (keep scrolling!), Elizabeth Austin Photography captured all of their details, the candid getting-ready photos, and their emotional first look.

Beach Wedding Ceremony in Puerto Vallarta

Everyone wants a beach wedding ceremony but nobody wants sand in their shoes all night, are we right? For Brittani and Jared, we built a custom all-white stage on the beach, grounded the space with a perfectly crafted floral arch, and watched them recite their vows under Mexico’s picturesque sunset. As you can imagine, there was magic (and happy tears) in the air that night. For those who haven’t been (yet), sunsets on the west coast will literally take your breath away. Golden hour in Puerto Vallarta is like nothing else we have experienced before. We strategically and intentionally chose details with clear acrylic and paired them with a classic wedding color palette featuring greenery and white florals to enhance, and not distract, from the fact that we were all in paradise.

A Tennis Court Destination Wedding Reception

You wouldn’t believe us if we told you so we came prepared with receipts. Seriously, head over to Instagram to see what the space looked like before we worked our magic. While Brittani and Jared originally came to us with visions of using one of the resort’s reserved event spaces, we knew we could make it better. We created an incredible monochromatic all-white wedding reception under the stars ON THE RESORT’S TENNIS COURT. With a little (a lot) of lighting, and luxurious linens and florals, we created a wedding reception space surrounded by 360-degree views of paradise. Guests entered under a floral arch before they were immersed in the absolute vision that was Brittani and Jared’s destination wedding. One word to describe the evening? ICONIC.

What do you think? Is this the best glow-up you’ve ever seen? When they said “you can never have too many candles”, they were right. Every flick of the wrist was worth it. We created an evening that will truly never be replicated. Brittani and Jared wanted a wedding day that their guests would enjoy and leave feeling like it was the best day ever. Signed, sealed, and delivered.

Another benefit of getting married in Mexico? There was no shortage of really great tequila.

A Second Dress from California

Here at SBE we’re big fans of an a second dress change, and the additional elevation to your wedding day look and feel it provides. But not only did Brittani get in on this second outfit moment, Jared joined in on the fun too. Brittani’s show stopping dress was custom designed by the talented Ryan Patros and the Walter Collection based in LA, home to other well-known celebrity clients.

Destination Wedding Planning

Before we share the incredible team that made this destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta to life, we wanted to share just a few photos from Brittani & Jared’s welcome reception and rehearsal dinner (two separate, yet equally dreamy events) enjoyed during their destination wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta. Everything about their trip was absolute perfection. We are forever grateful to have curated a team of truly talented professionals to make it such a once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone in attendance!

One wedding “trend” we are loving is the focus on curating an incredible and intentional guest experience.
