Can you believe we’re already in August? Where has 2014 gone? This year is more than half way over, so what better way to climb over the hump than reflect on some of the more interesting Wedding trends of the season.

You’ve seen the photos. Brides in their beloved, and sometimes EXPENSIVE wedding dresses they spent weeks and even months searching for, jumping with them into the ocean or rolling around in the mud. All that lace, satin, and tool essentially ruined for the sake of photos. The bride’s way to say F#ck It to wedding planning. They’re free!

However a new, or should I say relived, trend is coming back into the picture – no pun intended, and that’s professional portrait photos. These photos this season are leaning now towards the traditional nod versus the more trendier route, even without showing those pearly whites. So for now, say goodbye to the Trash the Dress trend and say hello again to good ol’ Tradition.
