We rarely get repeat customers in the wedding industry so referrals are the next best thing! In this group of girls, Hannah was actually the third friend in her friend group to entrust us with her wedding day. First, it was Meg, then it was Marilyn (first for her micro wedding during the pandemic and then more recently for her postponed wedding), and then it was Hannah’s turn. SUCH an honor. We also assisted Hannah and Aaron in organizing their welcome reception at Cana Vineyards the night before!

While we were technically only hired for day of coordination, we definitely played a small role in Hannah and Aaron’s wedding design at the Salamander Resort and Spa. By now, these friends practically feel like family, so it was a no brainer to go the extra mile as needed! And we couldn’t be more proud of how their wedding day was brought to life. A First Look at the Salamander Resort and Spa

The perfect first look location doesn’t exist… oh wait. Hannah and Aaron shared a sweet first look before their wedding ceremony surrounded by the gardens at Salamander Resort and Spa. Their wedding portraits are absolutely stunning, naturally, but we have to admit – the visit from their fur baby and the flower girl photos are some of our favorites!

Hanna and Aaron chose to take their wedding portraits before the ceremony (a choice more and more couples are making – so they can spend more time enjoying cocktail hour!) so after their couple portraits, their wedding party joined them. We were obsessed with the mismatched pink bridesmaid dresses. Bring on more patterned bridesmaid dresses, please!

An Outdoor Wedding at Salamander Resort and Spa

There’s something special about an outdoor wedding ceremony. Hannah and Aaron’s nuptials, set against the stunning backdrop of Salamander Resort and Spa’s grand lawn, were no exception. Our sweet couple exchanged their vows under blue skies, surrounded by fresh summer air. While we often love to plan weddings in a big city (from DC to NYC and beyond), it’s weddings like this that remind us how wonderful it is to celebrate surrounded by nature’s beauty! Salamander Resort and Spa in particular has 60,000 square feet of outdoor space.

Sensational Summer Wedding Reception

After Hannah and Aaron said their “I do’s” on the grand lawn, it was time to celebrate under the open-air tent for their reception. We worked hard to bring their vision to life, and their pastel color palette, accented with bold magenta flowers, was an absolute delight to the eyes. The paisley blue linens were one of our favorite tablescape details. As the sun set, the venue was illuminated with romantic candles, which created the perfect ambiance for Hannah and Aaron’s special night. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Hannah and Aaron’s wedding at Salamander Resort and Spa was truly a sight to behold. The couple’s decision to hold both the ceremony and reception outdoors couldn’t have been a better choice, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the stunning surroundings of the resort.
