With Winter Solstice approaching this week, I can’t help but get excited about my favorite wedding season of them all – Winter Weddings! Can you blame me? We’ve been so blessed to have some amazing winter weddings in the past! From Meaghan’s gold bridesmaid sequin gowns to Kai and Quinton’s sparkly winter wonderland, the winter wedding inspiration has been so good to us! Check out some of our past faves plus what we’re looking forward to seeing this winter season below.

Past Wedding: All Gold Everything

As the saying goes, “Everything that glitters ain’t gold”, but it’s hard to take that phrase to the bank when our bride Meaghan and her bridesmaids enter the room. Paired with deep red bridesmaids bouquet, these gals are the epitome of winter weddings done right. Don’t you agree?

Winter Wedding Inspiration: Hot Chocolate Bars

Everyone’s favorite childhood drink will be everyone’s favorite sip at your winter wedding. Create an entire station stocked with candy canes, cinnamon stirrers, marshmallows and lots of whipped cream. Of course, boozy add-ins (like Bailey’s or peppermint schnapps) are also highly recommended.

Past Wedding: Faux Fur Accents

Nothing says “cozy winter wedding” like faux fur accents. Our bride Amanda was fortunate enough to be able to incorporate her grandmother’s fur shawl on her winter wedding day and we think it creates the perfect winter wedding day accessory. Other ways to incorporate fur into your wedding day? Add them as draping along the chairs at your king table, or offer them to guests to snuggle up with during your ceremony. The slightest touch makes the biggest impact.

Winter Wedding Inspiration: Have Fun With Textures!

This is the PERFECT time to experiment and play with lots of colors and textures. Don’t be afraid to be festive with your color selections and then ultra modern with patterns and textures. Who would’ve thought marble menu cards would be the perfect accent piece to a holiday tablescape? But isn’t it fab!

I hope these ideas and inspirations gave you the space to be able to begin researching and adding final details to your winter wedding. Winter Weddings are the perfect time to have fun and embrace the season. For more wedding advice be sure to click here for the latest scoop!
