February is no longer just the month of hearts and cupids among couples! Now ladies are bringing a new twist to this love filled month by celebrating their bestest gal pals on Galentine’s Day and we’re loving it! So much in fact, that the ladies and I of Simply Breathe Events threw our 2nd annual bash this year to pay homage to our best friends (both personal & industry!) and it was a blast yet again!

With being our 2nd year throwing a Galentine’s Day party we wanted to make sure that for guests that came last year, the feel was completely different! This year’s theme Babes & Bubbles, came with delicious nosh from GetPlated, a DIY Bubble Art station, yummy treats from Buttercream Bakery (you have to see this Beyonce Cake!) & Sugar Studio, a lash & Highlight On Fleek station, and photo booth from SNAPBASH Photo Booth! At the center of it all, neon lights from the ridiculously talented BRIGHTLY Ever After lit up the room! We wanted to make sure ladies came in, grabbed a drink, and had a ball with their besties! And when you take a look at the photos from our event below, I’m sure you’ll see the mission was accomplished!

Upon arrival, ladies were able to stop at our check-in stations to lose their coats, and grab custom heart rings! These were such a hit from last year we knew we had to do them again! The ladies were also entered into our raffle prizes including this box shown above, which was filled with lots of cute gifts.

Our hit Highlight on Fleek station was provided by Jennifer Thorpe Beauty! Here ladies were able to have false lashes applied and the option to add on highlight! Perfect for all of our attendees to get dolled up before a night on the town.

The food was unbelievable thanks to GetPlated Catering! We couldn’t keep their chicken tacos stocked fast enough and their crostini + seasonal dip display was total cheese board GOALS!

They also helped us execute our signature Champagne Bar! What’s a Babes + Bubbles party without champagne? P.S. all of our fun signage was by Creations by Sasha!

Without further ado, our sweets table! From our centerpiece cake, Beyonce herself, from Buttercream Bakeshop to our Galentine’s Day cookies from Sugar Studio decked with our hastag #GalPalsDC the setup was perfect for the evening to cater to everyone’s sweet tooth.

What a blast! Thank you again to our amazing vendor team and everyone that came out to our very first Galentine’s Day Event! Such an unbelievably fun night! We can’t wait to start planning for next year ????
