Happy Summer! Now that we’re officially into the summer wedding season, (talking to our June, July, and August couples!) it’s time to take a look at what makes this season so special and ways to ensure you keep your guests cool as a cucumber in the sweltering months. We’re breaking down how to keep your guests hydrated, wedding colors to keep your eyes peeled for, and little tips and tricks to ensure you have a stress free summer wedding!
Summer weddings come with high temps, therefore it’s super important to keep your guests fully hydrated to help beat the heat. Adding a welcome station with iced/cooled waters before your ceremony will keep them cool during the nuptials. Adding a fun summer cocktail with slices of watermelon or oranges will keep them going till dinner, and chilled white wine and rosé will keep your guests cool throughout the night. It’s better to be practical than stuffy during this wedding season!
Calling all colorful weddings! Now is the time for you to embrace the season and add some color to your wedding scheme! Bright colors are all the rave during the summer wedding season and for good reason. The sun will be out and shining for a good part of your wedding day, so these bright colored florals will stay vibrant and joyful throughout your entire day (with proper care). Plus they provide natural good feeling endorphins – good vibes only!
Now that you’re basically a pro at having a summer wedding, here’s a few more tips and tricks to keep in mind:
Don’t forget the sunscreen and bug spray!
You can never have enough ice water handy
Make sure your wedding dress is made of a lighter fabric to help keep you cool, as well as a tuxedo fabric that let’s the guys breathe!
