Morning Preparations at Hotel Washington
The day began at Hotel Washington, where Raychel and Brett got ready for their big day. Raychel’s suite had an amazing view of the Washington Monument—such a peaceful way to start the day! You could feel the buzz in the air as everyone got ready for the big party. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, Raychel’s room was bursting with laughter, excitement, and love.
First Look Moments
Before heading to the ceremony, Raychel shared two very special first looks. First, she shared a heartwarming moment with her dad, bringing happy tears to many eyes. Then, she had a sweet and intimate moment with Brett, her soon-to-be husband. We LOVE first looks at Simply Breathe Events. They really capture the genuine emotions of the couple’s big day and set the perfect tone for the heartfelt celebration that follows!
Ceremony at St. Peter’s on Capitol Hill
Next, Raychel and Brett’s ceremony was held at the historic St. Peter’s on Capitol Hill. The traditional décor of the grand church beautifully contrasted with the modern, moody reception that followed. They exchanged their vows surrounded by the church’s beauty and the presence of loved ones who came from near and far. The love and commitment between Raychel and Brett were clear for everyone to see, and it was beyond beautiful to witness.
Arrival at Perry Belmont House
After the ceremony, everyone headed over to the Perry Belmont House and were blown away by the stunning floral setup right away. We created an 8-foot wall of red roses at the top of the beautiful marble staircase—talk about the perfect spot for selfies and photos! It was a true masterpiece.
Romantic Reception Decor
Raychel had a crystal-clear vision for her big day. She dreamed of a wedding overflowing with red roses, and Perry Belmont’s red ballroom turned out to be the PERFECT spot for it. The moody red lighting design added that extra touch of luxury, making the whole place feel cozy yet grand. With roses everywhere you looked, the venue was bursting with color and fragrance, adding to the romantic and dramatic vibe.
Everywhere you turned, you couldn’t miss the roses—they were everywhere, and they looked AMAZING! Our awesome team decked out the mantles at Perry Belmont with rose arrangements that wowed everyone. We mixed up the guest tables with both tall and short centerpieces bursting with red roses. The finishing touches? Smoke black glassware, gold-rimmed chargers, and sleek satin linens pulled it all together for that luxe, moody, and super stylish vibe.
It was the ideal setup for a winter wedding—warm, elegant, and with just the right amount of modern flair!
Dining and Dancing
The evening kept rolling with an incredible dinner that had everyone raving! Guests indulged in a spread of gourmet dishes that were as tasty as they were beautifully presented. The winter white cosmos and delicious espresso martinis added just the right amount of class and coziness, making everyone feel right at home. The tables looked fab with all the elegant settings and the sweet smell of roses filling the room—it was pure magic!
After everyone had their fill, the dance floor was the place to be. Raychel and Brett kicked things off with their first dance, and parent dances. The music, the laughter, and all the happy vibes made it an unforgettable night.
